Figurative Language Analysis on Efek Rumah Kaca’s Song Lyrics at Sinestesia 2015 Album

Figurative language is one kind of the styles to make expression and message speaker or writer strengthened. usually used in song lyrics. Sometimes, figurative languages existed lyrics can’t be understandable. One that has a lot songs from Sinestesia album by Efek Rumah Kaca. Therefore, this research trying analyze on Kaca’s titled Sinestesia. The focused analyzing type with its meaning using Kennedy’s theory classification (1983) Ogden Richard’s (1923). Qualitative descriptive method for research. result 4 found, which 25 personifications, 18 metaphors, 15 overstatements, 2 apostrophes each language’s elaborated. Besides it, found album’s connection itself.
